eCare® Client Software Support Engineer
(Location: Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.)


Job Summary:
Primary responsiblity for maintaining all Client site specific programs and keep all their associated DLL’s up to date on an on-going basis.

Responsible for setting up and maintaining customer’s SQL eCare® CMS Database and all associated tables on an on-going basis.

Must be able to work independently, and be familiar with medical terminology as it pertains to claims processing and posting.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinating eCare® CMS installs in conjunction with Account Manager
  • Work closely with Help Desk and Account Managers to provide complete support
  • Install core system updates in a timely fashion
  • Install and maintain all current table updates in a timely fashion
  • Work with Account Managers and customers to determine site-specific edit needs
  • Code and install site-specific edits and customizations
  • Answer customer querys regarding operational environments of the system
  • Other duties as required

NOTE: Occasional travel to clients sites required.

 

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Terminal Server (Client and Server)
  • Working knowledge of Citrix
  • Working knowledge of Windows versions 98, 2000, XP, and Vista
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008
  • Working knowledge of insurance billing practices in the healthcare industry
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and work in fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, cooperating in the joint effort to successfully accomplish assigned tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to gather and understand user business requirements and to clearly communicate technical solutions to customers, managers and peers
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers as well as other staff members.
  • Ability to apply knowledge to support Account Managers to effectively maintain accounts at a high level of satisfaction
