Passport Health Communications, Inc., a nationally recognized pioneer in developing Internet solutions for the healthcare industry and one of the Best Employers™ to Work for in Tennessee, is seeking a Project Manager, Implementation.
The Project Manager, Implementation has primary responsibility to direct key clients through the implementation process by providing on-site and remote implementation support of Passport’s products (primary focus on RQA/PPE and financial services products) and to exceed client expectations through superior client relationship management skills, extensive product knowledge, and the ability to navigate successfully through complex implementation requirements.
Currently seeking senior level candidate with extensive internal and external project management experience and the following capabilities:
- Ability to triage client issues occurring in the implementation process by analyzing, determining specifications, aligning resources, and facilitating resolution
- Ability to analyze and facilitate resolution of complex issues from internal and external clients
- Ability to learn, understand, and identify customer problems and recognize core issues
- Ability to understand the customer’s business process and how Passport products support, enhance, and facilitate those processes
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal development and technical/customer support staff to resolve issues
- Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages
- Ability to gather and document business requirements
- Ability to perform GAP analysis and define solutions to gaps
- Ability to design, write and implement test plans to assist customer UAT
- Ability to serve as a subject matter expert for multiple software applications
- Ability to be involved in pre-production business analysis and sales support activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health or Computer Sciences (or equivalent work experience) required.
- Minimum 5-7 years Project Management experience required
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in the healthcare industry required
- Minimum 5-7 years IT, technical, software management experience required
- Excellent documentation and communication skills required
- Proven track record with successful projects delivered in a timely manner
- Must be able to function in a complex, agile, fast moving environment
- Presentation and training experience a must
- Must possess a strong understanding of the healthcare financial cycle
- Hospital/Clinical background a plus
- Experienced in the use of MS-Project, MS SQL, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, MS Office, Visio
NOTE: Position requires frequent travel to client sites.
